SUMMARY:Pink Challenge 1 Mile Walk and Lunch
DESCRIPTION:To wrap up Active Aging Week and in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month\, we will host our annual 1 Mile Fundraiser Walk to benefit To Life!. We will take a 1 mile walk around the Spinney at Van Dyke property starting at the Clubhouse. The route will allow for those capable of 1 mile to participate\, those capable of ½ mile to participate\, and those who cannot complete the walk but would like to partake to stand on their front or back porches to cheer on the walkers. Anyone who RSVPs as participating (in one of the above mentioned forms) and pays the minimum donation of $10 per person\, is invited to join for a light lunch at the Clubhouse following the walk. RSVPs are due by Wednesday 10/4 so I can have an accurate count for food. RSVPs can be emailed to svdlifestyle@livewellgroup.com or an envelope with your name and donation enclosed dropped in the Lifestyle mailbox by 10/4. \nThe route for the walk is from the Clubhouse over to Provoost to walk the trail past the gazebo and around the back porches of those on Rembiano Court\, following the behind trail to the end of Provoost Place and around the backside of the other side of Provoost and then the backside of Duyster making our way back to the Clubhouse. For those that can only do a ½ mile they can stay at the Clubhouse here or they can start at the Clubhouse here and finish the walk with us. The walk will then take us down Coorte Place\, through the wooded trail\, around Aertsan and down Brugel to the other walking path around the hill to the back of the Clubhouse. We will end at the front doors of the Clubhouse and go in for lunch.
