SUMMARY:Charity of the Month - Kindness is Foundation
DESCRIPTION:Kindness Is Foundation’s Lil’ Craft Cart\, Since October 2020\, in addition to the Kindness Cart\, we started a monthly craft project called the Lil’ Craft Cart for the kids at the Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center. We have provided various things the kids can paint\, such as pumpkins\, wooden turkeys\, and holiday ornaments. It costs about $400 per month which is a small price to pay for the smiles it helps create\, and when we work together\, we can make a difference in a child’s life. The Spinney at Van Dyke would like tosponsor a month’s craft in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Donations will be accepted until Friday\, September 29th and may be dropped off any time into the Lifestyle mailbox. The Bethlehem Chamber is teaming up with The Plaza Travel Center and Collette Tours to offer a fabulous trip to the Amalfi Coast\, Italy\, in the fall of 2024. Highlights of the trip include: Rome\, Trevi Fountain\, Pantheon\, Piazza Navona\, Colosseum\, Montecassino\, Amalfi Coast\, and Sorrento. Visit an Italian farmhouse with mozzarella-making demonstration\, visit Pompeii with additional tour choices\, and add a visit to Rome if you would like. The fall is one of the best times of the year to visit this southern Italy vacation spot\, fewer crowds and less rain. Start planning this amazing vacation this year.
